The first questions raised by persons wishing to affiliate with our association are, as experience shows: what does the VSTH offer its members? What does the affiliation cost and what are the benefits?

Besides, we have noticed to our great surprise that even our members don’t always know the full range of our services or, if they do, they don’t take the best advantage from it.

The VSTH and its parent organisation, the VSIG Swiss Trade truly offer services worth their money, which are widely beyond the usual task of a trade association, being to defend the interests of its members. Just as a trader in technical goods introduces himself to his client with a clearly formulated range of goods and services, the VSTH must show its members a general scheme of its services and the way they can benefit from them. It is not enough to state the aims of the association in the statutes. 

Definition

The technical trader supplies the industry and craftsmen with semifinished goods, ready to be mounted items and finished goods such as components for the sealing technology, driving technology, pneumatic or hydraulic technology as well as pipes and moulded items.
