General assembly

The General assembly is usually held on the first Wednesday of June (except when it falls in the first week after Whitsunday). The General assembly is our most important event. It is the main organ of our association and it decides on the policy and carries out the elections. It is usually enhanced by a speech on a topical subject. Participants have lunch in common at the expense of the association. The General assembly provides the opportunity to make acquaintance personally with other members, to discuss topics and to exchange experiences.

Members’ assembly

The Members’ assembly is held on a Wednesday around October. This is the most interesting of our events. The systematic exchange of experiences by means of (anonymous) questionnaires covers topics such as the situation of the technical trade, personnel and salary policies as well as business management data. When needed, experts are consulted in order to answer topical questions (e.g. internet, e-commerce etc.) Both the preceding lunch or the closing aperitif (both optional) offer opportunities to cultivate personal contacts.
